It is advisable to always carry tissues with you. Toilets do not always have toilet paper and may sometimes be drop toilets. In safari lodges and tourist accommodation toilets are both western and drop toilets.

HEAT
Travelling can sometime involve having the windows up. Not all transport is air-conditioned and on safari vehicles are not. It is advisable to bring a hand held fan (such as Spanish lady type) to fan yourself to relieve the heat. Always carry bottled water with you.
